It was our first time there and turned out to be a very memorable <em>first<\/em>. Into the Vembanad Lake\" href=\"https:\/\/kottayampattanam.com\/kumarakom-walkway-vembanad-lake\/\">Kumarakom Walkway<\/a> (into the Vembanad Lake)<\/li>\n<li>Go to <a href=\"http:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/rJkAO\" target=\"_blank\">Thanneermukkom Bund.<\/a> The road from Kumarakom is quite good and scenic with old trees lining the sides.<\/li>\n<li>From the bund, consider <a href=\"http:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/LEbOi\" target=\"_blank\">a drive on the Cherthala &#8211; Arookutty road<\/a> passing through Ottapunna, Thavanakkadavu, Pallippuram.<br \/>\nThe road is good and the traffic is usually light. It runs parallel to the NH.<\/li>\n<li>Or, consider <a href=\"http:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/anWYY\" target=\"_blank\">a drive to Kallara via Edayazham.<\/a> The road runs throughvast paddy fields.<\/li>\n<li>Bird Sanctuary<\/li>\n<li>Boating in Vembanad Lake.
